Friday Post February 16 Animate CC

1.What have you been doing in Animate CC, Make a long list-be detailed.

• I made my first movie called"The City" with the scene of two cars moving in the opposite directions on the street. I made a city scene with buildings, trees, and birds on the street.

• I learn to design and draw objects using the pencil tool, the oval tool, the rectangle tool, the pain bucket tool, and the line tool.
• I learned how to activate the library and property panel. I made objects into graphic symbols so when I delete them they are still in the library panel.

• I learned how to use the gradient tool to create the sky.
• I understand layers and how to lock the layers so I will not mess with that.
• I can add a sound effect like the horn for the car.
• I can create a motion tween to make the objects move.
• I am working on my second movie called"The Beach" from the point of view of a person looking out the beach with a moving ship and a skateboarder rolling by
• I set the grid on so I can draw more accurately

2. 5 tips and tricks I learned in Animate CC

• I learned how to use the code so the movie will start when the person click on the start button.

• I learned how to use some shortcut keys to do some actions
• F8 to group objects into a symbol
• F9 to control the action panel
• Ctrl+ Enter to test the movie
• Lock the other layer so I can edit my current layer without worry about messing up the previous works.

3.Explain how to embed a shockwave flash movie(SWF) onto my blog

1. Save the movie as the SWF and then upload it to dropbox
2. Copy the sharing by click the share button and copy the link
3. Go to the HTML section of the blog 
4. Copy these code     <embed src="http://dl.dropbox.com/.right/here.swf" quality="high" allowscriptaccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" align="middle" height="300" width="300"></embed> 
5. Replace SCR="  " with the dropbox link
6. Replace www in the link with dl
7. Delete s from https
8. Delete everything after swf.
9. And the publish.

1. What did you do this past week?

On the first week of this semester, I created a new blog for 2018 IT course. I made an avatar and a header for my blog as well as the link list of several classmates. 

I created 3 moon posts for the special phenomenon on January 31. There are the super

moon, the blood moon, and the blue moon post with their background colours the same with the colour of the moon.

 I made a post about predicting my grade in this course and answering a few questions about the school, the world, and space.

2. What code did you learn this week?
I learned the background colour code <div style="background: lime;">  <div>and the HTML table for the predicted grade.
                                                 

I also learned the code to fix the transparent background issues when posting the predicted grade post.

3. What 2 types of technologies do you depend on and why?
    I depend on my laptop and my Ipad. I use my Ipad for playing games, reading the news, listen to music, and for social media. I watch movies, research, and type my works out on my laptop. They are important to me because I won't be able to communicate, to learn, and to entertain without them. Besides, my life will be so boring without technologies.

4. What is your tech future?
I wanted to be a business accountant in the future, so technologies like computers are such important elements in my life. I wanted to have the skill organize many types of files, make data, and diagrams for quality slideshows.

About the school

1.Please share one or two things that is going well, that we need to keep supporting as a school.
         One of the good things at school is that we have many sport teams and clubs so that students can have a lot of choices to participate in school activities. Besides, we have many spirit days

  2. Please share one or two things that you think we need to look at as a school.
        Technologies can be a frustration sometimes. In some classes, failure in technologies can alter the whole class plan that can lead to students falling behind their lessons.

About the world

1. About the Australia open

        Roger Ferderer beats Marlin Cilic to win Australia open 2018 Men Single's Final at Melbourne. Roger Federer became the first men to win 20 slam titles after beating Marlin Cilic 6-2, 6-7, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1. He has collected this Australian title the 6th time. He is 155 ranking points behind Rafael Nadal and can return to world #1 if Nadal fails to make it to the Acapulco semi-final.

2. About the Winter Olympics

The Winter Olympic 2018 takes place in PyeongChang, Korea. This city is 125 km east of Seoul. This is the second Olympic happens in Korea( the first time is in 1988). The opening ceremony will happen at PyeongChang stadium with a capacity of 35000. It will happens from February 9-25, the ending ceremony will be on Sunday, February 25.

About Space
1.When and where will people see it?
This super rare super blue blood moon is visible in Australia, Asia, the US, and some parts of  Eastern Europe. Depends on people's locations, the eclipse will be visible at different times. People in Asia and Australia will see it when the moon rise at about 6:30 pm. People in US and Western Europe will be able to see it when the moon set at about 6-7 in the morning.

2. When will the next one happens?
This phenomenon happens once in a life time after 152 years. It was last seen in 1866. Luckily, to any one who missed that super event, there will be another lunar eclipse coming to USA  in January 21, 2019.
